- SGA is selling Teacher Treats (cookies, candy, or soda for your teacher delivered during Teacher Appreciation Week) now through May 1st, for $1 each in the lunchroom before school or in the office. Don't forget your teachers in specials, brain gym, ESE, speech, and even your teacher from last year!

Huge thanks to real life Meteorologist, Ryan Michaels from News Channel 7. Last Friday he helped our 5th graders preparing for their Science FAST by sharing about weather tools, types of clouds, how to read weather maps, and how they predict the weather.

In honor of Assistant Principal Appreciation Week we want to say a HUGE thank you to our Dean, Dr. Kimball, and our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Peña, for helping our Vikings grow and glow!

We are holding a special transition event for students who will be entering Kindergarten at Northside in August of 2026 and their families. April 14, 2:30-3:00pm join us at Northside for a casual drop in event. We will have school staff available to talk with you about the upcoming Kindergarten year and help you with setting up Parent Portal or adding a student. You can visit a Kindergarten classroom, and new Kindergarteners will receive a “Kindergarten in a bag” take away, with items that will help them prepare. We look forward to meeting you!

We'd like to invite everyone to stop by the Center for the Arts downtown to see this amazing show running all month, free and open to the public! Student artists being honored and their families are invited to the opening reception tomorrow and received an email last week with details via Parent Portal. Congratulations!

Save the date for our Northside Spring Carnival April 17th 4:30-6:30pm! The poster, soda, and coloring contests are under way and store bought baked goods are needed the week of the event! You won't want to miss the fun!

Our annual Northside K-Kids Food Drive has started! Please bring in non-perishable food to donate as we work to fill a community food bank this spring. The class with the most items donated will win a class prize!

Bay District Schools is asking parents and guardians to share their feedback through the Cognia Parent Survey. Your input helps shape decisions, strengthen our schools, and support every student as we work to Put the “A” Back in Bay.

Today was our last day of Read Across America week and we couldn't pass up a chance to wear our pajamas to school! Thanks to everyone who participated. We had so much fun dressing up this week!

Yesterday was "Oh the Places You'll Go" day and we wore shirts from places we've visited or would like to visit to help celebrate Read Across America Week!

We celebrated Wacky Wednesday for Read Across America week with backwards and mismatched clothes!
